I booked site 14 which was supposed to have sewer, 30 A and water. Got in at 8 pm in the rain. No one around to check me in. Found my site but couldn’t see any hookups. Gave up in the heavy rain. Next morning still could not locate any connections next to my spot except sewer with jammed cover. Used sewer in spot 15. Water connection was in hole in ground. Not that easy to use. No electric nearby. No one around even at 10 am. Area around my site had litter and was strewn with cigarette butts. Showers and toilets closed. Not worth $60 a night blew off second night and went to El Capitan SP. beautiful spot with ocean view won’t be back to Earl Warren.

Susan seems nice enough but this fairground is in rough shape. Lots of dilapidated fenced off empty buildings. There is only 1 shower stall and a toilet for M/F. I guess its fine for a passing through but I feel misled by the website. This is an expensive stay equivalent to a beach park or KOA but I feel like I'm sleeping in a parking lot at an abandoned grocery store. There are ~5 nearby state parks and 4 other county parks to choose from.

We’ve stayed here multiple times now and each stay has been exceptional. The park is located in a clean and safe area that is centrally located and quiet. Also, the park manager, Susan, is one of the most accommodating and friendly managers we’ve had the pleasure of meeting during our travels. Earl Warren RV Park is definitely our preferred park for this area! Thank you Susan for making us feel at home here. ðŸ˜Å
