Agree with the other positive comments. We were on our way East in April. A one night stay. It was wise to stop before the big mountain ahead (Vail and etc). Reasonable price also.

We drove in near 5pm on a hot summer day and were directed to our back in electric only small spot. It was the cheapest spot as we came late and will leave early it was fine. Bathrooms were fairly clean. Lots of families and kids and a pool onsight. As well as laundry etc Showers were good. They work hard to have grass between the sites but then say no mats rugs or pop ups on the grass. So only chairs. Careful where / which way you face die to simmer and the gas station behind the property. Google map the spots before picking some real nice on the colo river. Some backing to loud truck stop. Also near the highway. Some noise but slept good.

We stayed here 3nights this month. We booked a premiere site along the River. Amazing view and site location .
This is a nice park. A variety of site types and cost levels. I little close to the interstate and you hear it, but not too bad.
We really enjoyed this KOA, nice sites, nice amenities , an easy fill up fuel station adjacent to it. We look forward to a return visit

This was one of the nicest KOA’s for the price point. Stayed one night as we were traveling but would have stayed longer if we could.

Next time we will stay longer, what a beautiful spot right on the water

Beautiful stay... wish we could have been here longer. The River running in the back was beautiful against the lovely fall trees. Peaceful. Sites were level and we didn’t have to disconnect. Waterfalls nearby!
There is a gas station right at the entrance with def, less expensive diesel, and propane.
Planning to return.

I am not a KOA fan but this park is among my favorites. Sites are very spacious for a KOA. Facilities are top notch and what you would expect for $42 a night. Huge tiled showers with spa type showerhead but not enough hot water. Noise from interstate 70 was minimal. Beautiful area and 20 minutes from Glenwood Springs. Don’t miss soaking in the hot springs at Iron Mountain and the Vapor Caves!

This is about the only game in town while driving the 70. With that said, it was convenient, clean and spaced nicely. The laundry facilities were nice (except who doesn’t let you use pods or dryer sheets? What??). The employees were nice, and it was right on the river. The cons... we had a spot facing the construction nearby, so it was a bit noisy, and there were lots of bugs in the evening (not their fault). Would definitely stay again if passing thru and would request a spot by the river.

Great park! Clean bathrooms and showers. Really friendly staff. Pool and hot tub. Great views. Great spots. We will be back here every time we come to the springs from now on.
