Absolutely a must stay. The owners and campground blew our expectations away. This gem sets the bar for how all campgrounds should be run. The owner out so much of their love into this place, so enjoyable with Karaoke at the music barn, meet and greet, clean and well kept and so much fun history. We thought the karaoke and meet and greet might be a little cheesy but we met some of the most wonderful people and had so much fun in the music barn. Lots of places to explore near by and some great hiking. Highly recommend!!

What an incredible CG! It’s small but mighty. Owners are incredibly nice and very helpful. They have a night around campfire and karaoke night. Some sites are close and we have our favorite site w a view. Only about 5 miles into Hiawassee and about 40 minutes to Helen but only because of the twisty turny roads. Most definitely will be back. Hoping sooner then later.

A great little private campground in a beautiful area. The owners are so nice and the campground is about the cleanest and most well maintained we have been to. The sites can be a little tighter than we like or are used to, but worth it for the quality.

Small private campground with meticulously leveled sites that are well maintained. WiFi is the best I’ve ever had -it’s fiber. Hosts are super friendly and helpful. Great views. Lots to do in the surrounding area.

An absolutely perfect campground. Small with 30 full hookup sites. Beautiful Mountain View’s, meticulously kept grounds , bathhouse, clubhouse, and common areas. Excellent wi-fi. Quiet!!! Close to Hiawassee and easy drive to Campground. Louie and PJ (owners) are the best, they greet you as you arrive, provide info about the area, and help however needed. Highly recommended as I hesitate to tell the world about this hidden gem.

Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of Mountain View Campground. The campground is easy to get to. Just outside of Hiawassee. The campground is near lots of outdoor activities from biking, hiking and paddling. The road inside the park is one big loop and easy to drive. PJ and Louie are very friendly. They meet you when you arrive. Help you get to your camp site. Help with any issue you may have with setting up. They check on you to see if all is good. The campground has a family friendly feel. The chance to sit in the rocking chairs and converse with your fellow campers is very special. The group camp fire site is nice with great views and comfy chairs. All sites are back ins, but easy to get in. Most are 50 amp full hook up. All are gravel sites with fire pit and table. We had site #30 which had a nice view of the mountains, but all are good. This site was level. The are doing upgrades to the clubhouse.
They also have a music room that is very impressive. The bathhouse is nice. No pool. They have garbage and recycle disposal. Most sites have some type of shade. The campground has lots of trees. They have Wifi which was very good.
The campground has a nice horseshoe area and corn hole game. There is no road noise at all. The campground gives you a good feeling. Simple camping. Very quiet. Lots of trees and mountains. We would come back to this campground.
