We love this place. Spent a week here late September 2018. There芒鈧劉s plenty of hiking and if you have a 4x4 you can drive further up Mt Elbert for some awesome views. Looks like the camping areas around the lake are walk-in only but there are plenty of places for RVs. The dump station in Leadville is $5 and includes potable water.
