Don’t waste your time. As of July 2024 the former dry camping area is a massive construction zone and RV’s are no longer allowed nor is there anywhere for them. Front desk advise that this situation is permanent. Too bad; this was a great overnight stop.

We loved staying here! It’s a very large, cleared area broken up into about three parking lots that you can overnight park in. One lot was fairly uneven; the other two, pretty flat. We are self-contained which is pretty key bc there are no facilities once the village closes. Gorgeous views of mountain and sky. Lovely day spent in the village - the pipe is great fun. Drinks and food at the restaurant which closes late. Far fewer mosquitos than campsites in the woods. There is enough space for folks to spread out - there were at least 15 other RVs and a few were rowdy so we stayed farther away for quiet. We recommend this stop.

We were looking for a place to stay in the general area to break up a long drive. We’re self contained and don’t use facilities. We stayed on a weeknight in Mid-August.
This is a great spot for a 1 night stay. The resort allows 1 free overnight for self-contained RVs in a large, relatively flat, dirt parking lot. Register at the Sutton Place hotel desk. There were 9 other RVs overnighting with us. We had good ATT coverage while roaming on Rogers and Verizon while roaming on Telus.
Check the resort website for activities - there are many, gondola rides, mountain biking, etc. There are also restaurants, bike rentals and shops at the resort.

Revelstoke Mountain Resort is a ski area that permits self-contained RVs to stay one night for free in their parking lot. Just check in at the hotel desk to obtain a free permit. The lot is level, quiet, and has amazing views of mountains on both sides of the valley. This is dry camping (no services) although they allow you to use the washroom if needed. Two restaurants are on-site, and there is a gondola ride and a mountain slide for the adventurous. Cell phone reception is strong. We enjoyed staying there. The only downside is that the parking lot is dusty and not everyone is considerate; keep your windows closed.
