Good place for dry camping; especially good for a place to camp for free for a night or two while passing through. Only about 5 minutes off freeway. As you come to parking area, left side is Day Use only and right side is open to RV’s. Right side is slopes down from road with a couple inches of gravel and hard pack underneath. Recommend tongue facing road, that way you’ll be level side to side and can disconnect and lower front to be level front to back if need be. 4 covered picnic tables and fire pits down short set of concrete stairs and next to stream.
There is another camping area further up road about 1/4 mile. We were only RV in lower lot on a beautiful Friday night is August ‘24. Great viewing of night sky. Will definitely stay again.

It’s close to the freeway and very clean. Unfortunately the only area that is level enough for an RV the day use area. We were there on Labor Day afternoon and there were only a few ORV people and one RV (leaning more than we care to).

This wasn’t the place for me. It’s a parking lot for OHV folks. The grounds were dusty, VC rocky and not level. No other campers were there so I decided not to stay.

Nice quiet spot about a mile in on a typical gravel road. There is another camping area about a mile further down. There is a pit bathroom and that’s it. There was only one other camper with us the night we stayed and one camper in the far campground. It seems like a good place for four wheelers. We had at&t and Verizon service.
