Came up in our truck to scope it out for our 27ft trailer and the roads in were very narrow, with some tight spots that had trees on both sides. We got all the way up to the gate and found it closed, a local stopped and told us they had not opened it yet and that last year it was not opened until July. Recommended we call the ranger station to check when the gates would be opened. I would not try to tow our trailer in here, though (maybe more experienced RVers could do it.)

Arrived on a monday afternoon. every site was full. could get to most in my front wheel drive promaster van but after about site 15 we turned back. the road gets pretty sketchy for low clearance vehicles and is not maintained well for sharp rocks. there is MANY signs saying only camp in designated spots. unfortunately this sweet secret place isn't so secret anymore. would have been a nice location to post up for a few days, otherwise. noticed 2+ bars of verizon LTE as well.

This is really a lovely spot. We were there on a snowy day in late October so it was especially deserted, but it was so quiet and peaceful. No amenities, but our campsite did have a fire pit. We had no trouble at all getting our 25ft long RV back into this campground, and I think someone with an RV up to 40ft long could probably make it work. Just make sure to keep going until you reach the GPS point that Allstays navigates you to rather than trying to park in the first campsite you see. There’s a huge parking lot for turnarounds and a trailhead there as well.

Some good options for tucked away spaces. Area is frequented by dirtbikes so best to find a spot off the road a bit. I brought my 21ft travel trailer in and out just fine. Good for overnight stay or to hole up during bad weather, as it is very quiet.

Lots of transients have caused the residents and law enforcement to patrol this area. Fires are now banned. No trash services. Would recommend everyone to avoid this area as it has gone to the dogs. Thanks to heavy [bad] use, firing of guns and illegal fire pits. Trash is a constant problem
