Lots of off road vehicles. Noise wasn't too bad until after dark. Several riders riding in dark until midnight. Shooting until late as well. If it wasn't for that it could be a nice peaceful place to stay. Very rough roads which were doable. Stayed one night. March 2019

Great safe location with lots of other campers on the weekend. Shooting and OHV go on 24/7 as other review noted, but nothing overly loud. Easy trails nearby with great views. Patrolled by super friendly BLM Ranger so make sure your OHV stickers are in order. If you’re looking for something less busy nearby, try Agua Fria BLM just north on I-17.

This is a great place if nice quite and all alone is what you are looking for ... M thru F we were the only ones on this mountain ... on the weekends the off road rock climbers are everywhere ... That kinda stuff is ok by us and the sound of guns going off 24 7 but we felt safe everyone shooting stayed on the hill sides where it is ok to shot ... During the day the Air Force flies by all the time . F-16 F-35 C-130's We stayed in our motor home and enjoyed every night . We had wild Burros and one morning we had cows visit us :)
