This place was awesome. There are only a few sites (8?) and most are tucked into random places on the farm, ie not right beside any other RVs. It is super-quiet and peaceful and an utterly beautiful setting. We signed up for a 90-minute in-depth tour from the owner Charlie and it was really nice. Kevin was likewise very helpful in helping us get in (we pulled our 40芒鈧劉 motorhome towing a suburban into the next-door church driveway, ugh! Thanks Kevin for your patience and assistance!!). Doesn芒鈧劉t smell like a farm since the cattle are all spread out over the hills and fields. As Charlie will tell you 芒鈧揑芒鈧劉m a grass farmer with cattle芒鈧. We only stayed two nights on our way to the Smokies but there is stuff to do in the area if you芒鈧劉re able to drive 30-45 mins in different directions. For example, we went to Brasstown Bald and that was fun despite bad weather. Btw yes the steaks are very expensive. About what you芒鈧劉d pay at Whole Foods (eg ~$40/lb for a premium cut)...but you芒鈧劉re eating this on the FARM...ours was labeled as having been packaged 4 days prior to our purchase!! Note: cellphone reception was good and full hookup was perfectly operating. Would definitely come back.

We stayed here in July 2019 for 3 nights and it was one of the nicest places we ever stayed with our 5th wheel. Picturesque setting, quiet and just a few sites. It is a livestock ranch with cattle, horses and a donkey. We saw deers and a ton of rabbits. Beautiful landscape and the nicest and cleanest farm which we ever saw. The store offers very good quality meat and even dog food, which we bought for our dog. There are two full hook up sites and I think three more with electricity and water. Lots of space to walk your dog and very quiet during nights. Thank you Charlie for letting us stay at your beautiful ranch!

Wow! What a find, on our way to Tennessee! This is the quietist and most peaceful place we芒鈧劉ve ever stayed. Nothing but nature sounds and the occasional bellowing of cattle. Beautiful farm setting with views of the mountains all around.
Charlie the owner was away while we were there but he checked on us several times. Carrol took good care of us though. We bought one of the steaks in the store as well. It芒鈧劉s a little pricey but well worth it. Best steak I芒鈧劉ve had in years, and one was just enough for my wife and me.
We stayed one night in lot 3 with power & water. The lot is very level with wild flowers in the back, providing a little privacy from the barn. Showers were an extra fee but they provided the towels. Only negative is the one bathroom and shower is shared with several others, but we only had to wait a couple of times. Not bad.
If you芒鈧劉re tired of the cramped sites at typical private campgrounds, and just want a peaceful place under the stars, Walnut Hollow Ranch is a must. We look forward to returning!

Not sure whether to review the products available, the campsite or the host and staff... but no need to worry, they were all a 5/5! We spent 2 nights here at the end of March and it was absolutely wonderful! This has been one of the most relaxing and beautiful places we芒鈧劉ve ever camped. We stayed at one of the electric and water sites and were the only ones there. It was so quiet and peaceful. We bought various cuts of beef including a ribeye we cooked for dinner one night. It was the best steak we芒鈧劉ve ever eaten! Charlie was a great host and gave us great hiking and sightseeing suggestions. Our only regret was not staying another night! It is also in the heart of the mountains, making it a great basecamp for visiting other NC and north Georgia mountain towns, wineries and breweries. Such a beautiful place and we will definitely be back!

An absolute picture perfect place to stay! We were in a 26芒鈧劉 View with two mini-schnauzers who loved the birds, the cattle, trees, flowers, the walks and the privacy. Just an amazingly peaceful stay with a most accommodating, friendly host. Thanks, Charlie!

Beautiful location in a Hollow and super peaceful. Level gravel sites next to a pond. No sewer hookups but dump site on property. Working cattle ranch but no odor. About 1 mile from rte 64. 5 minutes to Hayesville, 15 minutes to Murphy or lake chatuge.
