We stayed in site #12 in our 30'TT. The lady who checked us in was kind enough to bring us an extra 2x6 to supplement the 2 boards we had with us, so that we could get level. Power, water, and sewer all worked as expected. We were glad to be in the shady woods with electricity, since it was blasted hot and smoky during our stay. This campground was perfectly situated for us to visit Lassen Volcanic National Park, Redding, and Whiskeytown National Recreation Area. Due to the heat and smoke, we chose to limit our outdoor time. But we did enjoy walking the RV park grounds in the evenings. This park is set back from the road, so it's quiet. We saw several examples of new improvements to the park: new tables, chairs, & umbrellas; fresh gravel (unfortunately not at our site, which was super dusty), and so forth. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

This campground is overpriced for the aminities, ambiance, etc. ($75 per night for water and electric Sept. 2023). Rustic and dusty. The restroom is a rusting green trailer with cramped RV type toilets. Several small rental cabins and platform tents are available. Large trees provide shade.

Very nice forest setting. Managers were very pleasant. They do offer a 10% discount for military and Good Sam. I didn't give 5 stars because there was no pool or rec room. Regular price is $37 per night.

The campground was incredible. Very rural beautiful trees. Really felt like you were deep in the forest. Very friendly management, very quiet, showers and restrooms well kept and clean. The atmosphere of patriotism well received by us - educational for all ages. Only there for the night but can’t wait to come back again. We had a 28 foot RV, very large campsite, fire ring and picnic table in sites. We were definitely Happy Campers !!

Great campsite. Very rural feeling. Close to Lassen and general supplies could be attained nearby (Dollar General and local convenience stores.) camp host was very friendly and accommodating.

Great campground, close for exploring Lassen Volcanic National Park. Owner operated by a lovely Christian couple who work hard to make sure you have a great time. The park feels more like a state park than a commercial campground. Set in massive tall trees with lots of space between sites. Only has 30 amp service but didn't mind because it was cool under the shade of the massive giant trees. Had a fantastic week here. Camped in a 40' 5th wheel.
