Really nice boondocking. Take 241 (Lake Deweese Rd) out of Westcliffe. Paved most of the way Boondocking allowed all around the lake. We found a nice mostly level spot on a higher point above the lake, after turning left at the triangle intersection. Weekend, but nicely spaced and quiet where we are with our 36 ft MH. Lots more people on a hill area further north. Sandy gravel roads and spots have stone campfire rings. Burn ban n place but we saw fires on the other shore across the lake.Vault toilets scattered around. Lots of fishermen Nice view of the Wet Mts and they deserve their name. Lots of breezy, windy conditions with scattered showers. Pretty lake views with American Pelicans skimming the lake. Westcliffe a nice little town to explore and very dog friendly
