We stayed here in September 2019. It is a fabulous park. Our site was level. We stayed two nights to explore this part of the Door Peninsula. This campground is a great jumping off spot. We did not use the facilities so cannot comment on them. My only issue is that all the campgrounds in Michigan State Oarks as well as Wisconsin and Indiana have an entrance fee in addition to the campground fee. Some charge by the night and others charge by the stay. In Michigan they also had a charge for the towed vehicle in some campgrounds. First we have encountered this and we have been throughout the East and West.

This campground is heavily forested with nice wide level private sites, a fire ring and a table. The bathrooms in this campground were old and not well tended but the nearby Tennison campground had newer, nicer ones. There are miles of bike trails and all kinds of beaches from sandy to rocky. There is no WiFi or cell service once you get past the office .The park is very well situated for exploring Door County.
