Huge park close to the lake. Many sites to choose from in three areas. We were in the farthest part, Horsehead. We picked the one spot still available at site 145, in our 24鈥 class C. Lots of shade put not even close to level. About 8-12鈥 off front to back no matter how we tried to angle in. Managed to shave off 4-5鈥 with blocks. A lot of pads were sloped with the landscape, so make sure to scope out flat pads first. Lots of space between sites.
Great paved bike trails and access to the beach all over.
Bathroom was very clean as well as showers but had issues with the hot water.
We did have a good number of biting flies but only a few mosquitos.
Two dump sites with potable water available.
TMobile cell service was on and off-crazy. Could not pick up any local stations on over the air TV if interested.
Camp hosts are nice and the park workers do a great job maintaining the park.
Great lake to bring the boat or jet skis or just hang out on the beach.
Would return again but only with a more level pad.
