This was our 3rd trip to Ludington SP and first time staying in the Pines campground loop which is the closest one
to Lake Michigan. We love this park. We brought our bikes this time and rode them all over the park. We never got back in the truck the 4 days we spent here. The lost lake and ridge line trail hike (~4 miles) is our favorite. The sites have electric and can be a little tight with not much privacy between them, but the campground itself is surrounded be huge trees and the dunes so it has a natural feel. Great kayaking opportunities here also in either Lake Hamlin or along the river.

We were amazed at how nice this park was. We plan to return and camp here again
