Fox Den is the best area to stay in at Chain. It has electric hook ups, close to the good bath house. Nice individual nooks. Stay on the outer ring if possible. The middle is a bit more crammed, and the angle to back in can be difficult for inexperienced rv back ups. We have stayed at other areas, but this is the nicest for the larger rigs. A few spigots for water fill ups in fox den. Weekends are a bit more active. During the week- completely dead. Acces to the waterway for boating, canoeing, kayaking. No swimming hole. Fishing available at Turner lake also. Camp hosts are friendly. Lots of trails.

Nice park. Love all the nature preserve areas. The camp host were great. Mosquitoes were bad so bring spray.

Has great camping... several different areas within the park, fishing off piers for the kids, senior discount, boat launch or bring your canoe for some beautiful wildlife sightings and free boat launch within the park. Go a couple times a year, love it
