Active April April 1, 2024, until April 1, 2025 the OC campgrounds will be closed for construction. We will miss this great place to camp in OC

Great place to stay and cheap at $45. per night Would give it 5 stars if it had 30/50 amp service rather than just 20 amp and better dump capabilities.

Honestly, I’ve loved staying here! It’s a very laid back, open place. I imagine it gets more full at times, but our November stay has the park nearly empty, it’s close to a great park for kids and a short drive to some of the best beaches. A great place to stay in socal will stay again. They have a 14 day limit, but as long as they don’t have closures, they seems to be somewhat lax on that.

Go to gate 5 security building. If you park on dirt area near street there is traffic noise. Security patrols at night. Was alone did'nt feel unsafe

3 stars cause of location and cost ($35) in the OC. 13 min's from Newport Backbay. Where you can lunch your Kayka for free. The OC night market about a 5 min walk was great for foodies. Dog park about 5 min walk also. The park itself isn't much. 20amp water & sewer . But well worth it for the coast.
