We just stayed at Vel Terra Ranch. We’d highly recommend it. The bathrooms are probably the cleanest I’ve seen. The grounds also are well cared for. There was free firewood which is a very nice perk! There was a small play set for the kids. The place is small, quiet, no frills and a great getaway in Northwest Illinois. The owner and seasonals were all very friendly and a pleasure to chat with!
