Nice park, slabs are large but the road noise never stops. There are a few houses adjoining the park and we were awakened around midnight by gunfire from that direction. A few days later, gunfire, I guess target practice, during the day.
We will look elsewhere next trip.

Nice park. Very clean and well kept. Bathrooms and clubhouse very clean. Grounds kept great.
Large sites with concrete to park on. Utilities are great. Dog waste baggies available. Trash pickup.
Overall very nice park. Priced a little high for what you get.
I would stay here again people are super friendly.

We stayed at Sugar Sands during Shrimp Fest. We enjoyed the wide sites, clean updated restrooms. Very convenient to OB, and GS beaches. We did dodge Hurricane Michael while there. Highly recommend this Resort.

This will be our fourth year to go to Sugar Sands for Shrimp fest. One of our favorite camps anywhere. Right off the Baldwin parkway. Short drive to OB and GS. Very friendly staff and first class facilities. Open spaces and a lake are nice. Very quiet night. Small aircraft do fly over, but didn't disturb us.

Nicely manicured campground!! Large concrete pads to accommodate even the largest RV's. Too far from beach and all restaurants and attractions!!!! OK, I guess if you're there strictly for camping, but not much to do , other than swim in the smallish pool!!!!! I suppose if you get there without reservations, it beats having to go home, but we prefer being within walking distance to beach and attractions!!! I think if a campground is going to be sooo far from everything, there should more to do, other than share the small pool with A LOT of other campers!!!! Also, the picnic tables are positioned so that you cannot have a private meal outside with a private conversation!!!! (They are side by side with the neighbors picnic table!!!)
