We were very disappointed with this campground. $40/night for an elec only site. No potable water or dump available. Many sites are rundown, unlevel, overgrown with grass, uncut firewood laying all over the place, and what looks to be a homeless encampment on the other side of the campground with people in tent sites using the elec sites to charge their phones or cook. Their trash is strewn around a fifth wheel that they are living out of. Fifth wheel is chocked with uncut firewood logs! We won’t be coming back here.

Nice little park by a pretty lake, could use some sprucing up but if their going for the primitive look, they nailed it! Currently 40$ for an electric site, no water or dump yet, but I do see the new well house! Close to the town for activities and would stay again. Currently here on a weekend and it’s pretty full. Only 2 plates non Alaska that I found.

We camped here 3 nights in our popup pickup camper nice quiet park. We stayed in site#2 with 20,30&50 amp electric for only $20 per night. It is a rustic park with gravel pads & roads only 2 miles off highway 3. There are no sewer or water hookups only non potable water & pit toilets. Within walking distance to beautiful lake. 3.5 miles to Walmart super center & Wasilla. There is a very nice newer playground for the kids in the camp. Use the 1401 S. Endeavor Street address to get there. The road into park has a lot of holes but after you get in the loop it’s pretty smooth. Pick up a registration envelope at the entrance find a spot you like fill out the tag & place on the post. Put money in envelope & take it back to post where you got envelope to your pay. We will definitely stay here again if in the area!

Use street address, NOT gps coordinates to find it and don’t click on map app or it’ll use the gps. Area 2 now has many electric sites - 30/50 amp.

50 amp electrical at many sites, but no water or sewer. Very helpful campground host. Site somewhat level. Tables and fire rings in heavily wooded setting. Plenty of mosquitoes, but that is expected next to a lake. Would use again. Stayed in motorhome.

Pretty park, safe, nice location. Electric, $20!!
Roomy sites, no water or sewer. Our site pretty level.
Cute playground.
Camp host, hooray!
Need bug spray.
Seems to be a work in progress. Needs bathrooms.
O yes, next to beautiful lake.
A gem of a park. Liked it, would go back.
Camped in small travel trailer.

We have been the camp host at this park August and September 2015

Park is clean very close to city 2 miles but secluded

this year its primitive next year 2016 they will be adding a dump station and electric and water to the campsites (already installed for host) - brand-new playground - concrete floor outhouse - Heavely wooded and very pretty - very safe as local police and park rangers patrol the campground frequently
walking distance to a beautiful dock and lake and if your a Palin fan it's directly across from Sarah Palin's house (big red White House)
