NO…Just NO!
We were told we had to be there between 4-6 or won’t give you a site. Got there at 5 and it took 20 min to find someone who worked there. Most of the time they don’t man the office and the phone does not get forwarded so if there is an issue you are SOL. 4 pm on a wed (during office hours) the power on the pole surged and blew out the socket and our surge protector. 96 degrees and couldn’t find anyone to talk to. Maintenance guy blew me off and said talk to the office. I would have if they showed up or answered their phone. Ended up picking our own site out - after driving 3 hours to get another surge protector because upon investigation several of the sites are blown. Their entire electrical grid is old and needs upgrading and they need a contact that responds. DO NOT STAY HERE!
Never Again

Oak Island campground is barely a place to park. I would not come back. The site was wide enough for our 39 ft MH but we could not put our awning out because of a light pole. This park is full of shabby permanent TT. We paid $50.00 a night, what a rip off. The folks running the place at nice, so I gave it 2 stars
