Nice park, nice people. The only complaint is that there are no sewer dumps at your site and you need to drive to the dump. That normally wouldn’t be a problem but the designer made the drive around so narrow, it’s ridiculously tight for a big rig. No need for it, I complained. We’re 44 feet with a toad and its a challenge.

My family and I are actually here now and just finished making smores. We have been to numerous campgrounds from NY to Florida (Disney Ft Wilderness) and I can say we really like Bear Creek Campground. I'm going to be honest here. It is a new campground and as such, has some growing to do. For it's age, it is doing very well! Customer service is top notch! Every day we have been here we have seen improvements, new additions, and obvious hard work by staff to build on what has already been accomplished. Clean restrooms and showers, brand new pavilion, clean RV sites with convenient garbage can locations and daily retrieval. Yes, I look forward to the day when the new trees actually grow tall enough to provide shade and let me set up my hammock, but the staff can't make a tree grow any faster than nature so I can't hold that against them. Nice convenient location to Lake Compounce amusement park! Free shuttle service to and from the park. Well worth the nightly fee. Good job Bear Creek! Keep it up. I look forward to seeing your growth over the coming years! Good campgrounds are worth their weight in gold when building family memories!
