THis is a favorite stop of ours. We love kayaking here and riding the bike trails. I think it’s best in cooler months. The best sites get filled up quickly, so it helps to plan ahead. The sites are large but few are shady. Private bathroom facilities and showers are free.

High desert landscape. Not much shade. Each site has its own lean-to. Sites are well spaced. Lake access is fairly difficult. No swimming.
