Location is great, however you pay for that in loss of space. Campgrounds are packed, especially the RV sites with full hookups. The beach facing ones are ok, but skip the back ones. We have a 24' trailer and barely got into our site without jack knifing our hitch. Next time we will bring a generator and skip the full hookups. El Capitan has much nicer spots and more room.

Great beach with unusual and easy to avoid tar pits. Adequate restrooms with token operated showers. Some sites have water and electricity, no sewers. Little shade.
