Great location and RV Park. Enjoyed the large spaces, wildlife, and views. Tons of improvements happening. Already a nice park though. Will be Back!

WOW! What an awesome little park. We were just a few minutes form Rapid, but it felt like we were miles form anything. The views and the sites were well placed and spread out. Our dog loved playing in the creek and I enjoyed watching the wildlife and the great views in every direction. We have stayed at several parks throughout the Black Hills, but we will definitely come back again to this one. They have done a substantial amount of work here and it looks as though they are continuing to do more.

We were on our way back from Yellowstone and booked in advance to stay at Black Hawk RV Park. When we arrived someone else was in our spot so the Hostess, Tina, put us in spot #2 which was a mud pit. There was a hole where someone else got stuck on our site so we couldn鈥檛 back RV all the way back. The sewer drain is sticking up so high you have to rig your drain hose so it will drain. It鈥檚 almost impossible to get it to drain. I know why they did it-the way it floods down there it would fill the septic tank if they didn鈥檛 do it. They need to not rent those spaces out. It鈥檚 terrible. I tried to talk to Tina about moving elsewhere and she wouldn鈥檛 come to the door (she鈥檚 in a cabin)- I called the given phone number and voicemail was full. We ended up paying for 2 nights ($90 per night) but only stayed one. I do not recommend this place. Walking up to the bathrooms is mud mud mud do you can imagine the shape the bathrooms are in. They are 鈥渕aking improvements鈥� but they haven鈥檛 mastered the part that鈥檚 already done. They are charging the rate for a finished park. We were there during a bike rally (which isn鈥檛 why we were there) so I know they had the prices hiked up. We knew the price when we booked it months ago-that isn鈥檛 the issue. The issue is this place is NOT as advertised. I鈥檝e read other reviews and for every bad review they post an excuse why things were that way. Don鈥檛 believe their response. They have an excuse for everything. We are NOT picky campers! Trust me. You鈥檝e been warned.

Worst place I have ever stayed in my thousands of miles traveled. The site was so close to the other person that I couldn鈥檛 even open my awning or enjoy tv outside. They gave no map so when I called to ask a question, I got mailbox full. I emailed and no one ever answered me. BTW, they charge around 70. 00 per night I would never stay here again!!!!

Last day at Black Hawk Creek RV Park in South Dakota. We芒鈧�鈩�ve been here for about 10 weeks and have enjoyed every minute. I highly recommend this place. They are expanding the park so there is a little work being done but not that it bothered me.

We needed a place to camp at the last minute since our original campground had lost our reservation and was filled. There were 3 RV芒鈧�鈩�s in our party and the host kindly found spots for all 3 of us right next to each other. It is a spacious park, currently being renovated. Very quiet and beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend Black Hawk if you are looking for a clean, friendly location!

We loved this park and the staff. They were very accommodating out of kindness of their hearts. It is being enlarged and will be really nice when done. Sites have plenty of room for big rigs, nothing cramped

Quiet, clean, spacious park. Managers are very nice and accommodating. Close enough to interstate to be convenient, far away enough to be peaceful. Spent three nights, would stay again if in the area.

If you need a RV Park that is within a reasonable amount of miles to Crazy Horse, Cosmos Mystery Area & Mount Rushmore, this place is it & fairly reasonable. Justin & Ginger were very friendly & accommodating. I highly recommend this campground.
