We camped at this KOA on our way further south. We had only intended to stay overnight, but enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night. Check in was very easy. It’s actually inside at the check in desk for the on-site hotel. The ladies there were very friendly and professional. We were escorted to our site and helped us back in. Sites are mostly grass with synthetic mats to drive your RV on. Our site was very level and did not require further leveling on our part. All of the hookups were in great shape. The WiFi and CATV worked well. We went to the on-site beach and it was very clean and relaxing. The bathhouses were very clean. We always saw cleaning crews at each one. The on-site restaurant was at the top of the beach area, and although a tad pricey, the food was good and the sunsets better. We walked around at night to check out the Halloween decorations other RVers put up. We will definitely stay here again on our trips south.

We’ve stayed here a couple of times, including before it was a KOA. It’s a great location with second rate sites. We’ll stay agile, mostly because it works distance wise from out home base.
