I don’t agree with the bad reviews, I think this place is great. As close to Baxter as you can get, restaurant with WiFi on site. We have a 36’ Class A and they accommodated us in a level spot. Check in was easy. The service at the restaurant is slow, but, come on, it’s deep to the Maine woods and it’s busy. The staff was working hard, just too many people. The food is good. I would definitely stay here again

Only 8 miles to south entrance to Baxter, a plus. But pitches are not easy to access and not at all clear where to put caravan. There is electric but no sewer at all in campground. There are some water taps but not close to the pitch we were allocated. The access to the showers not easy as up two steps, difficult in the dark. I think it might be hard to get a large RV in.

There were no reviews for this place so we took one for the team and stayed for a few days.
The good: closest you can get to Baxter and still have electric and water. Nice restaurant/bar on the premises. Decent Wifi considering how remote the place is.
The bad: not for big RVs, very tight to maneuver. They had 30A at a few sites, but the voltage was low and we couldn’t run our A/C. They had 20A at one of the sites and didn’t understand the difference between 30 and 20. No Verizon cell service. Sites were not very level. If you are in a small rig and won’t need A/C then it might be worth it, but otherwise I am not sure they are ready for you.
