Pretty place adequate sites and close to town. Flush toilets ok, and clean. Showers cost a quarter for 2 min. Ok but quarter machine not always works. Often noisy at night.

We stayed almost a week just prior to Labor Day 2016. This is a campground plus event area. There was a music fest scheduled Labor Day weekend with perhaps several thousand expected. Expect to camp on sand under large pines. Sites not well marked or defined. Shower rooms cost .25 for 3 min. Friendly staff but expect changes as owner died late spring.

Beautiful, well-maintained campground near Portland, Maine. 20 amp electric service only and no pedal stools at each site. You must have an adapter and a link the extension cord in order to plug into one of the electrical boxes place throughout the park.

There is a $5/day pet fee, and a $5/day electric fee. Sites start at $27/day. Although there are water spigots at various places in the park, there are none at any sites.

When questioned about the daily pet fee, manager refused to come to office and speak to us in person, opting to discuss it over the radio only. She was rude and argumentative and told us if we didn't like it, we could leave, but that she does not give refunds. The park was mostly empty while we were here, and now we know why. We will not be returning.
