Saw a moose family pass through and it was great! I stayed in the dry camp area, no shade, very open and beautiful! I think you’ll like it.

What a wonderful campground. Nice sites w electric & water when you first pull in. $10/night. But keep going beyond those and there are a number of huge spacious sites up on the hill without hookups but perfectly fine for trailers. $5/night. Free Oct to April. Loved the whole place. Nice walks. Great area. Saw moose.
