Stayed here for 3 nights when skiing Telluride. Great location for this purpose, just a 25min drive to the ski resort. The place is surprisingly quite at night despite how close it is to the road. Not much traffic. Pit toilets are closed during the winter. Stayed here with 20ft Ekko RV with AWD. It snowed 5-10inch while I was here but so far no issues with that.

40 MH + Jeep. The three designated sites were full and there was another motorhome in the large parking lot area, so that's where we stayed too. Spent several nights, no problems. It's right on the road, but traffic dies down at night and it's also right on a river so that drowns out noise. Rafting companies drop off groups from parking lot every morning, but not a bother. Hard packed gravel, nice level site. Telluride and Mountain Village only 30 minutes away. Even though we didn't have Verizon cell or MiFi service, we would stay here again.

This is a great overnight spot next to the river and the road. There is on great pull thru that was taken. Two other back in sites and a possible second pull thru. However the parking lot us large and there are lots of good spots. ATT signal was enough for a call but enough to search. Pit toilets were clean. No dumpster.

Right on the river a few people camping as well but plenty of room. Sign said camp in designated areas but I didn't see any markings. Hey it's free!
