June 2020: The rv dump station at this location is no longer in service. It has been permanently decommissioned and sealed with concrete. There is a potable freshwater faucet/freeze-proof hydrant in the adjacent day use picnic area, but not readily accessible for filling an RV’s tank without using a very long hose and occupying day use parking spots. This water supply may not always be in service.

Spent one night in June 2019. We were the only ones in the campground and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Located next to highway 95 but was still very quiet. Loved camping next to the Salmon River. Price was only $10.00 per night. This is a great one night stop when traveling through the area. We watched deer in the campground and elk on the mountain side and ridge top across the river. Would stay again.
