Near bike trails, lake for canoeing kayaking, sites are very unlevel, good shade, gravel, little privacy. Bathhouse is open with screen for fresh air, so chilly for showers. Fire pits, picnic tables.

Nice, quiet campground far enough off I-75, but not too far! Got lost by Garmin directions....should have read my confirmation email first for easy directions. There are 3 campgrounds here, one near the interstate, this one and another farther on for tents. We had 50 amps and water. The road into the campground is hard packed and somewhat rough for a big rig (39’ diesel pusher) as well as narrow. This site was high near the road and on my driver’s side and we had to really work to get somewhat level for the night. Looks like this campground has not been updated for big rigs; but that being said, it was clean with good trails, nearby quiet lake, clean bathrooms, and locked trash bins. Not our first choice, but would be good for a smaller rig.

A lovely campground! We had three RV’s ranging from 45 feet to 24 feet and we stayed in lot #7,8,9. They are all grouped together with a communal area between boasting the most beautiful oaks we have seen! Lots of space for everyone, hook ups all worked smoothly and trash drop is a 2 minute walk away. There are some lots right on the lake which I mights try get next time! A beautiful hidden gem, we’re only an hours drive away and we’re going to keep in it mind for our next mini trip away!

A hidden gem! Camping like old school Boy Scouts. All sites in the woods, lots of shade and wildlife. Worth every penny. Only $15 dollars a night with senior discount and its on Silverlake, just beware there are gators in the lake. We will be back here when ever we can!! Thanks.
