I stayed on the south camp area for a overflow area its ok but i would not stay here more that a couple nights. I would stay to get on the north camp are by the marina it is a lot nicer and is on the base. The staff that i did see were haelpfull with the direction again as in a many occasions the directions were garbled and difficult to follow. Would stay here again but only on the north side.

I don’t understand the negative ratings on here. The sites are close together but that is true in many places. This place is close to EVERYTHING. We drove to Dog Beach & spent the afternoon at one of the best beaches you could ask for. There are restaurants everywhere. Great shopping. And it’s cheap! We rented a paddle board and played around in the water at the small beach area on sire. The staff are wonderful, friendly & helpful. Nice laundry on site as well. We rode our bikes on base almost every day. Highly recommend !!

This park is very small the spaces are very small and close together in a very congested area with a lot of navy activities going on… Next to the road and a highway with a lot of road noise.

I read all of the comments and agree with them. I just take exception to the rating others gave. Yes the sites at the Marina on the base are close together, they really are. But you have location. You also have the downside of having to enter through the main gate which is a PITA that we must endure just like the active duty personnel. The price is right, the location on Panama City Beach is priceless, the utilities work as advertised. But it does have small shaded sites. You will appreciate that shade in the summer.

This review is for the north side park for NSA. For the price, it’s okay but I would not return here. Bad: We ended up in the part of the park where we could not have a vehicle by our RV. But suitable parking is close. Can’t see the water from the RV park. The spaces are very tight and there’s no picnic table. Noisy with traffic rolling through the park to the marina and construction noise from the building next door. I guess I was expecting a little bit more. Good: friendly MWR people and plenty of watercraft for rent. Fishing from the beach here. Bathroom and laundry are fine. Goods can’t hold a candle to the negatives.

We stayed here for 2 weeks in a 32ft class C. Attendants were great, helping us pull into a fairly tight place. They even found a secure place for my car hauler at no charge. Motorcycle was a bit of a problem. Standard military rules of long sleeves etc while on base. It was hot but we worked thru it. Overall a very pleasant trip.

Great campground on the Southside. Camping on main base is too confining. On Southside campground you can enter and leave with going through access control point. Campground has full hookups, clean restrooms and laundry room. Panama City Beach is a five minute drive. You’ll love it here.
