As a solo female camper, I was reluctant to give this a try based on prior reviews. My 1 night stay here was good and I felt safe. CG charges $18 per night for no hookups, clean bathrooms, no showers. Full time Campground host was pleasant and helpful. Great location right on river & riverwalk 1.5mi to Idaho Falls. Quiet except some train whistles.

Sept 2018 Beautiful little county park right along the river with nice spaces and cheap ($15) cost using honor system and limited stay. But the park seems to be inhabited with numerous long-term tents and squatters. While there was space available, it had a strange vibe that evening, so we opted to move along. Would benefit from more oversight from local officials.

We looked for the North park but could not find it as it seemed to have better reviews. But this park was very nice, lots of trees, mowed nicely and the riverside location was great. There is a dump station, restrooms and water in the park. However there were several old, seemingly permanent
trailers parked there with sketchy owners and several tent dwellers. Made us a little nervous, but we had no trouble with them. We just stayed one night as the 15 north had been closed for wind. Did not see police patrol but more patrol would be reassuring.

Enjoyed a quiet boondocking spot on the river. Says 24 hour max and no tents, but at this time, two permanent trailers are there as well as many tents, so the 24 hour is not enforced. It appears some of the tenters are living there, but it felt safe enough in our rv. Beautiful paved biking trails on both sides of the river. Rode up to the Japanese garden and the falls. Free dump and water. Wonderful resource.

Park was closed. Previous reviews had me a little apprehensive of this place to begin with. Luckily, water and dump site still working.

Beautiful little county park. Great value (free); however, we didn't feel safe. The park appeared to have a drug problem. Also seems to have a problem with thieves. In the middle of the night while we were trying to sleep, somebody tried to steal our bicycles which were locked on the bike rack which was also locked on the hitch. We peeked out to see red laser beams directed towards the back of the van. Didn't know what to, but fortunately the locks discouraged the thieves and they left.
The park is patrolled but not frequently enough to discourage the drugs and the thieves. There were a number of other campers ranging from tenterhooks and old RVS on a shoestring to pricey pushers with fancy cars in tow.

Very nice overnight spot. Well shaded and every site has grass & bbq. The bathrooms are clean complete with sink. We're in a 40'mh with a toad and had no problems finding a great spot to park without unhitching. All of the trees were trimed which is always a plus. This is boondocking 1st class.

Shady tourist respite. There are bathrooms but we are in a small mh. Very tired and so happy to find this little place without having to pay exorbitant amt somewhere just to rest in the shade and sleep a few hours. Thank you, Idaho Falls
