Since we rarely book in advance, I called the park and spoke to Greg looking for a site for 3 nights. He had a 50 amp spot for two of the 3 nights needed and gladly offered up a primitive site at the back of the park until the FHU opened. We arrived and Greg was super accommodating. Escorted us to the rear which was a very large mowed site more than capable of accommodating or large Class A coach. We stayed 1 night then moved to a FHU site. Park is very clean and organized. It’s off the interstate 3 minutes and was very quiet. Greg even has a nice garden and shares the veggies with the guests. $20 for primitive sites, $35 for FHU sites. Definitely stay again if in the area.

Lovely city campground, well maintained, quiet, and safe. The hosts, Greg and his wife have managed for the past 2yrs and it shows! The campground was full, some full-timers but they keep spaces open for travelers. Clean (free) showers, dump is $10 if you don’t stay in a FHU site. Super impressed, would highly recommend.

For the hook up sites sign says you need a reservation. Tent sites you do not. There was nothing saying we could not stay in a tent site with an RV so we did that. $12 tent site and $20 for water and electric. Dump site does not have potable water. Was a very nice and quiet night. We were the only ones in the tent sites. Tent sites are not numbered. We just picked a spot.

Clean park for stopover but didn’t know fhu site could only be reserved online through reserve America. Had no service in the park with ATT so just took a space and payed when we could get online. A real pain. Fortunately the park was pretty empty. Restrooms cost. County staff was not helpful. All grass so fortunately it was dry. Nice tables.

Great stopover-well maintained city campground. Be careful when you book because spaces share hookups so you may have a box on the wrong side of your rig. No pull thrus, but they have full hookups. Convenient to I-94.

Nice park with lots of grass, sand volleyball net, and swing set. Full hookups now require on-line reservations, but the primative sites do not. We stayed in a primative site and it was a very level grassy area. The only problem was the primative sites aren't marked and there are only a few tables and fire pits. Since the primative sites were almost empty (full hookups were pretty full), this wasn't an issue for us. They have a dump station, but we couldn't find where to fill the fresh water. Ended up filling up in one of the empty full hookup sites. Showers cost 4 quarters, but not very clean. Could hear the road on one side, but not too bad. Mostly cars, not too many trucks. Corn field past the trees on the other side.

Wonderful overnight- full hookup including 50amps. Just pull in and find a space. You share a meter so check what is available if you care about amps: the downtown has a small grocery. There are some long termers but everyone real nice.

Great overnight stop. Large sites with electric and water all for 22 dollars / night. Bathrooms were just ok - men's shower was dirty with no adjustments for temperature so not the best shower amenities but overall good for a overnight stay. We had a class B camper van. There were 2 class A, one fifth wheel, and one tent camper on a Tuesday night.
