Stayed 3 nights in site 4. Had FHU and a pretty little country campground. We didn’t use the bathroom and showers but walked in and they were spotless. The campground was only 1/4 full. It’s close to Mount Saint Helen but Johnston Observatory is closed. And won’t be opened for at least a year (2026+). There are several permanent residents in nasty trailers but they were ok people. Hey, $35 cash a night FHU is a bargain. Would recommend.

Very nice park out in the middle of nowhere except for Mount St Helens. Still no cell service or WiFi in 2021. AT&T, T-mobile, or Verizon. Someone came up to me and asked the trick for getting cell service, I said, drive west for 5 minutes. There is also service to the east sometimes because we were able to get service at the stops to Johnson Ridge.
Also, the exit out of the park can be hair-raising due to blind 45 MPH curves in both directions.

A decent park but absolutely no cell service there. Zero! Although beautiful, campsite was very unlevel. Wasn't thrilled about 25 cents for two minutes of hot water in bathroom. Playground was ok but not great. Best part was the proximity to Mount St. Helens and the restaurant next door.

Small, quaint park with out-in-the woods feel. Convenient and close to Mount St. Helens and Toutle Rivers. Great basecamp for outdoor activities. Most full hook-up are back in with trees around. Bathhouse with showers. Big tent sites. Simple, clean and nice.
