Super nice, helpful people here. My rig needed a new alternator. Had to wait four days for an appointment, so I stayed here. $25 is extremely reasonable for full hook up even if it鈥檚 not level. (My fridge ran fine at a steep angle). YMCA 2 miles away offers showers for $3.50. No membership required. But I am a member so I enjoyed a beautiful swim before my shower. The new alternator from JW the shop only took an hour of labor and the final cost was half of what I paid in Arizona in 2022, so I was very pleased. Super friendly staff even offered to take me places while I was 鈥渟tranded鈥� here. National D-Day Memorial is nice 8/10 mile walk from the campsite. It鈥檚 actually privately owned and costs $15. I had on line shopping delivery here also.

Just pulled in. Visitors Center looks good, staff very pleasant & helpful. Site 2 & 3 aren芒鈧�鈩�t level. Charged $25 for the night with all hook ups including dump and moderate wifi.

Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful parklike setting with nice view of mountains in a clean, quiet town. Very reasonable price for the services provided. However, its a paved parking lot on a hill, no way to level my 25 ft rig, no shower.

County went up in price. Used to be $5 ...to dump and water. Now it's $10 to dump plus $10 more for water. It's only 10 miles to Peaks of Otter campground. $20 camp with dump and water included with Golden Age passport for only $10

This lovely visitor center has three RV sites in their back parking lot. Each site has full hookups; you pay only for the utilities you use. Open 9-5, but you can pull in after hours and pay in the morning. Free coffee inside. The only reason I give 4 stars is that the sites are WAY off level. On our 37 foot motor home the jacks lifted the front wheels six inches off the ground, and we are still a little off level.
