Trashy, hateful & noisy would be the 3 words I芒鈧劉d use to describe this 芒鈧搑esort芒鈧. Pictures don芒鈧劉t do this place justice, so here芒鈧劉s a video https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cnuiomwqxmj/?igshid=YWJhMjlhZTc=
After almost 3 years of fulltime RVing, this park was the worst of the worst. I will share my personal experiences below but first, this place is right off i-10 and VERY noisy. You hear it constantly. There are many stray cats that they do not neuter or spay, or vaccinate for that matter, that will get into everything you own. They charge every 28 days, meaning you will pay for 13 months if you stay for the year. The owner has no compassion and lets these trashy people run the park. Vidor is also a sundown town, so people of color, please be aware that this is a dangerous place for you to be.
We unfortunately stayed here for 3 months for my husbands job and I was constantly harassed by Sherry and some other residents and belittled by the owner. They have at least 10 stray cats roaming the park at all times and they are CONSTANTLY having kittens. They get into everything including nesting under your vehicles, under your rv, I even saw one pull a panel down under a rv and hop inside with kittens 冒鸥楼麓 my dog is a beagle/blue healer mix and very inquisitive. She would sniff where the cats were and was not as welcomed. Holly, who lets the cats roam all over her rv, verbally assaulted me for my dog sniffing. Then had her creepy husband drive by our rv slowly, glaringly and intimidatingly. The amount of times I was yelled at at this location for merely walking my dog is astounding. I let the owner know and was told to not walk in these areas eventually leaving me no where else to walk, no compassion was offered. I later heard her talking about my experiences and laughing with her staff. Zero class at this location. There are alligators and snakes in the lake yet NO warning signs and they encourage guests to swim with them with a trampoline in the summer. Sherry, the lady featured in my video wouldn芒鈧劉t leave me alone, constantly yelling and chasing me when walking my dog and following me when I芒鈧劉d take my trash out. It got so bad I considered a protective order. Boe the maintenance man and our direct neighbor were the only nice people in this place.
It was a nightmare of an experience and I hope this saves other RVers from going through what I did at boomtown.

Stayed in 45芒鈧劉 MH 3/14/20. Just opening newly constructed area about 200 yards from I-10 noise. Nice concrete parking and picnic pads with table. New hookups. Adds about 20 pull thru spots. Should be open for summer season 2020. No PA discounts for new area and may have an age restriction for rigs. They let me park here due to size of rig but don芒鈧劉t think it芒鈧劉s officially open yet. Level site but still dusty dirt road access. Not sure amenities are servicing this part yet. It芒鈧劉s a ways from office and rest of park. Addition of this area should raise the rating of this park.

Terrible spot, save your money. Muddy and very loud. If you can sleep here you can sleep anywhere. Does have full hookups but that芒鈧劉s about it. Would not stop here again.

We stopped there for one night. The girls at the front desk was very nice. They give me a pull through but a little tight, I asked to change for the one beside before I unhitched but was told it was reserved, but no one showed up on that site. The lake is so beautiful, but lots of permanent old, very old trailers on this camping, and the road is so full of holes and bumps that I felt that I was offroading with my 40' fifth wheel. The worst is the noise, the pull through are only 50 yards from I10, so it was worst than sleeping in a truck stop, but with hookups. Save your money, go to a truck stop at the Exon across I10.

Mostly permanent trailers. Only a handful of sites for overnights. Lots of trash from residents. Just bad place all around. Hookups didn't work. Couldn't stand to step more than a foot into restrooms.
