Older park but nice with huge trees, some narrow sites but doable. Easy people to work with and accommodating. There was a bluegrass and bbq festival here this weekend and it was great. Good music and excellent food. Prices range $30-40 for seniors

As Tim and Jill said this is a lovely modern city park with lots going for it. Unfortunately as of this review there is a huge extremely loud pipe laying project next door and some sort of housing development going up next. In addition the park does not appear to be staffed on the weekend and multiple calls to the listed numbers regarding overflowing toilets went unanswered.

Quiet and peaceful campground that isn’t far to the bigger Columbus area attractions. Site are large and will accommodate big rigs and it is very well kept. It has a nice walking trail and disc golf and large old oak trees for shade. Highly recommend

This is our 4th summer to stay in this excellent park. We visit every year in July to visit kids in Hilliard. Park is well maintained, it’s quite unless they are having a special event. We are at site 51 this year with shade tree and large grass area, a private feeling. Great area for my dog to walk me😊 We usually stay for a week and look forward to our stay. We are on 38’ motorhome, the gravel pad is level with full hookups. I recommend that you come enjoy this park.

Very nice, clean campground run by the Village of Plain City. There are 60 sites total, including 4 primitive/tent sites. All sites have tables and fire rings, and (except for tentsites) water and electric hookups. Most are 20-30-50 amp, but some are 20-30 only. Restrooms and showers are very clean. The grass sites (1-38) are a tad snug, and careful parking/set up is important so you don’t infringe on a neighbor. And some of these sites may not be usable during spring rains. The remaining sites (39-56) are spacious with long gravel pads, and plenty of space between sites. All these have 20-30-50 amp service. One (40) has a sewer connection. (There is a good dump station on site, and if needed, a local service that pumps out your gray and black tanks for a reasonable fee). There are large mature trees throughout the park, providing great shade. The park is located close to Columbus area and it’s easy to find lots of activities.

Quiet and well-maintained, though we don’t use the restrooms or showers. New this year, they have quite a few gravel sites where you shouldn’t get stuck if there’s s lot of rain. The Parks and Rec director for Plain City manages this park (and the pool, etc.), and is friendly and very helpful! Municipal water and electric connections are standard.

This is a laid back city owned park. Since it is connected with the fairgrounds, you should call ahead to see if the entire park has been reserved for some group activity. The yearly steam power show is a big deal, and floods the area with tourists. However when there are no fairgrounds activities, this park is very quiet. Parking is on grass under huge oak trees. It is probably best to drop a towed car at the entry pavilion if you have one, then drive the car around to select a parking spot. Some sites may be pull-through, but are not easily noticed as such. Lush grass conceals them. Avoid this park in soggy, rainy weather! Not all parking areas have a firm gravel base, and you won't know until you pull into a site.
