Nice roads, gravel sites, many big shade trees throughout the campground. Nice guy running it. Very comfortable place.

I love this campground. What makes it great, for me, is the woods, grassy areas and nice landscaping. The campground also is large enough that perimeter walks are nearly a mile long.
They have nice activities on the weekends for families and a nice pool.

Arrived late afternoon on a Sunday. Paperwork regarding our site was clearly posted on bulletin board. Our site was not level. It took some work to get level. Full hook ups with good water pressure. Water pressure regulator recommended. Wooded campground provided extra shade. Park has lots of amenities we didn’t use. Beautiful green grassy area for kids and pets. Pool looked wonderful. Remember to check on the rules before arriving. Do not bring in outside firewood or you could get kicked out. Firewood sold at campground with fire pits at all site. Easy access off freeway. Some road noise but didn’t bother us. Good for an overnight stop, but on the upper level price wise.

Nice place. Quiet. Friendly staff. All sites are full hook up. Sites aren’t quite level but they’re not bad. You’re pretty close to your neighbor. Those are the 2 reasons that keep it from 5 stars. But I’m a repeat camper and enjoy my stay every time.

Nice and quiet, a hidden gem. Plenty of vacancies when we arrived after hours, had our choice of pull through sites. Just stayed overnight, would stay longer next time. Sites are a little off level, otherwise 5 stars. We stayed here in a 40 ft 5th wheel.

Very nice place, very nice play ground and a very nice stocked fishing pond.
The owners are very on top of what ever you need .
Stayed two weeks and plan on coming back again.

The good:
Probably a good place if you stay inside the camper the whole time, since they have full hookups.
The kids play area is very nice, with a large grass field. One true highlight.
The bad:
Outside, everything is gravel and mud. The gravel makes biking hard for the kids. The sites are very small, mostly mud, not flat, feet from your neighbor and feet from the street.
Sites are awkwardly close, with your neighbors sewer hookups 6 feet from your picnic table and fire ring.
Can't bring firewood in, so you pay $5/bundle. Pretty expensive if you like having a good fire.
Bottom line:
There are many, many other options not far away. Caesers creek and cowan lake are two nearby options that are drastically superior. You lose the full hookups there, but you gain back everything you love about camping. Definitely our last visit here.

This was a lovely stop on our trip. Pretty and clean, very quiet. Near enough to the highway for convenience, but no traffic noise.
Our site was large and level and the services were very easily accessed.

Lots of seasonal sites and hard to find site for 38 ft 5th wheel. Small pool but clean. Electric hook ups 20-30 feet away from the site so better have long cord.
