We were in site #21 the first week of July. 50Amp service, water, and sewer (all useable but rough). Sites are on the grass. We had no issues with our height 13鈥1鈥 or our 45 ft length motorhome. Narrow sites but the place was not full.

Stayed three nights. The positives: cheap ($30), very quiet, near everything of importance. The negatives: you'll be parked on grass. If it rains heavily you're in trouble. This is the most poorly maintained fairground RV parking area we've ever seen. 50 AMP only--bring an adapter if you use only 30 AMP. Accepts no reservations. If it's not county fair season you'll be OK. Would we stay again? Yes. The only amenities we require are full hookups. We love the quiet and the cheap parking. PS - There are no tables or fire rings here. Bring your own.

Another important note: There are only 50 amp hookups, so 30amp rigs will need an adapter to use power. We really enjoyed our stay here, very tranquil, good price for full hookups.

IMPORTANT. Campground is at north end of fairgrounds off University Ave. Turn off Eastland onto University. You will see it on your right. Nice, level, grassy, quiet, full hookups on side away from University Ave, but we were warned to check the sewer hookups with a bucket of water to make sure they work! We came to visit R&R Hall of Fame and this was the closest place we could find.

The campground was clean and kept nice. Although they advertise 25 spots, the health department currently restricts them to 4. It is an issue they are trying to fix. All hookups worked fine. The fairground was close to all attractions. There is a school across the street and there was a game going on that was quite noisy. The school has a great PA system. There is no WiFi available.
