Mountain River is a beautiful mountain campground located on the river. The sites are nice and spacious. Super friendly campers! I love the fishing pond, playing cornhole and walking the trail up the mountain. Its close to many area attractions such as Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, Linville Gorge and Roan Mountain! Love staying there!

Excellent campground. Highly recommend. Reasonable price. Right by Toe River, so beautiful and babbling. Wonderful shower house; clean new, and hot water. Cute shop with unique gifts. Pleasant hosts. Quiet. Would stay again.

Very clean and well kept. I liked the fire at night that everyone could mingle around.
