This campground is dirty and run down. Staff at check-in was completely rude. Greatly over=piced campground. The provided water hookup was in a hole 16" from the sewer hookup, so any spill could easily contaminate the water fixture. It's difficult to understand how this facility could pass a health inspection. Dusty bumpy roads.... Potholes at the entrance are real rivet poppers.

Nice setting on the French Broad river next to campground. Town has good food, brew pub and hiking store. Meeting place for AT through hikers. Hot tub natural hot springs available. Book early for a spa

Dear is very beautiful. We took a nice hike with great scenery. As for the perk itself, the lots are mostly dirt and the Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the campground. If you want Wi-Fi you have to go over to the spa which is across the street. Showers and restrooms were available. It was a bit of a letdown for the price we paid per night. You did get 30 A and a full hook up however the amenities just weren’t there.

For the price I would have expected wi-fi and showers and restrooms. None of these were available. The parking area was reasonably flat but it was mostly dirt as were all the roads in the campground. We’ve stayed at many others for a lot less that were much nicer.
