We only stayed for 2 nights (actually just plugged in) to recharge our batteries while we visited relatives in the area. Charming little campground with very friendly staff. Must call ahead to confirm reservation and to get access code for the gate. We have a 45 ft motorhome and were little worried about the gravel (about half a mile) and steepness of the grade. Made it in and out w/o problems but, you may need an escort when leaving the camp. The road is uphill and one way so, with the big rig, you may not want to stop on the hill.

Stayed here in a 40’ Motorhome. Nice site with FHU. Road into the park is dirt and fairly steep but was not a problem. Pleasant surprise once you arrive. Nice little creek runs behind the park. Small catch and release pond on property . Good place to spend a day or two.

On Wednesday we moved over to Hickory NC - Indian Springs Campground, located conveniently just off Interstate 40. .. 50A (it has been hot, but we have had great voltage readings) FHU pull throughs. . .free wifi (did not try to use). . .laundry room. . .Verizon works great. . .easy access for rooftop satellite. . .as we pulled past the security gate the paved road ended, and we started down, down, down on a somewhat narrow, well maintained gravel road, all the while thinking. .. what on earth have we signed up for. . .and then we turned the corner and there was a beautiful little RV Park nestled right into a valley with river access (we haven't walked over to the river yet). . .very friendly and helpful staff. . .they even pick up trash at our site. . .nice. . .
