No, no, no. Not this one. After driving most of the day, We were looking forward to staying here at chimney rock. We were looking forward to seeing Lake Lure, and the entire village nearby. We nearly got stuck on the narrow bridge coming in but drove straight to the office. There was a note on the door to look for Ken on site 4. That might have been fine, except there was no map to show us where site 4 was. We called the telephone number listed. There was no answer-it rang repeatedly. We went up the hill looking for site 4, and nearly clipped our travel trailer on a huge boulder. That was enough of this five star 芒鈧�艙resort芒鈧�聺 for us. We wrote a terse note and left it at the door. The place was run down , and is most definitely not big rig friendly. We couldn芒鈧�鈩�t check in ! 芒鈧�娄 no incoming packet at all! it was 3:30pm. We found site 4 on way out 芒鈧�娄 no one there! 冒鸥艗鸥 Good riddance.

While full hook up sights are limited, if you can get in sites 65-70, you'll be right on the river. Very close to town for browsing and meals. Very close to entrance of Chimney Rock State Park and all of its hiking trails. Site 65 is our favorite because of the privacy and river view. We will be back. The staff is extremely friendly and helped us with a power issue with our RV. Very rustic campground but still has all necessary amenities. We spent a loo of time in the river and their dryers came in handy.
