We continue to stay here each summer to visit family. The pros and cons are the same. However, the price has increased to $25 and the grounds, utilities, and dump station are being maintained better. We are here during a quiet period and are glad to have a simple affordable place to park.

A good overnight spot. Was a little muddy due to rain the previous night. We had water and elec. Portajohns on site, but event center was open for a swap meet so we had nice bathrooms there.

No frills, but you get water and electric and a good dump station. Fireworks at the airport on the 4th. Level rock, no shade, 50 and 30 amp. No problems. Stayed July of 2021. $20/ night.

I reviewed the park a year ago. Nothing has changed. There are not a lot of options in town for a few days stay. So we are glad the city keeps it open. Feel sorry for the folks in broken down rigs who pile up trash.

This is a no frills, no amenities, city park. No bathrooms and no WiFi for campers. It rarely has a camp host. $20 payment at the honor box. Electric and water are old. Hookup carefully. Sometimes campers will take up two sites or park strangely because electric and water are not working. There is supposed to be a 14 day limit, but some sites look like homeless camps. It is heavily used for athletic events, swap meets, rodeos, etc. RVs will be asked to leave or move to a different part of the park to make room for vendors or horse trailers. Check the city web site to find out about events. Both campgrounds have standing water and mud when it rains and no shade in the sun. The West campground is a flat dirt parking lot. The sites are long and level pull-thrus, but narrow. The East campground is a flat grass field. The sites are back-in and narrow with lots of pot holes. There is a sewer dump on-site and a dumpster. There are no trails or hikes. There are sidewalks in the surrounding neighborhoods and cemetery. There is a dog park down the street. Good for an overnight stay.

Gravel lot with 30 amp and water at the sites. Dump station $1. Call to make sure there are no special events going on.
