The Creek is awesome, but the interstate is too close to the park. Trucks during the day drown out any sound of the creek. Not a problem at night, The camp is 90% full timers. No dump available when you leave and the sites for one nighters dont have sewer dumps.

The park is between the interstate and a state highway. Yes, the creek is a nice distraction but you can hardly hear it most of the time. It appears that most of the trailers in the park are here for the long term.
There is a single shower for the park and it is gross. The shower and sink drains are clogged so in the shower you are standing in someone else芒鈧劉s filth. This bathroom has a flush toilet (which I did not try) and the other toilet in the in the park is a pit toilet.
Some of the sites provide full hookups others only have water and electric. There is a dump 芒鈧搒tation芒鈧 for those without a sewer connection but it has no water for flushing black tanks. The water supply and the camp site is unreliable. It seems the park is on a well that provides only intermittent water.
The single staff person was kind and understanding of the issues.
There are not many places to stay in the Helena area but I would avoid this park again if possible.

$$$ We spent two nights. Easy off/on from I15. The management was friendly. Plenty of room between sites. The national forest is across the road from the park, so the setting was lovely. There is a creek running through the property so you get a bit of white noise to drown out any highway noise. I15 behind the camp didn't disturb us. The camp host was thoughtful, and came over at the end of our stay to find out how we were. We thought the camp was somewhat primitive for the $50/night we paid. It started out when we had to ask the office clerk a couple of times where our spot was, as we couldn't find a number for the site. We arrived just after a rain, so things were somewhat muddy on the dirt park road. We had a back in; had difficulty finding a flat spot on gravel with holes and never really got a real level. The bathrooms in the main park did not have running water; just a hole. Was told there was a shower at the office, but we didn't try it. It's certainly not a destination, but we slept well.
