It received 4 stars because it can get soggy after a good rain. But very quiet, and makes for a get overnight. Cost is $25 and on a self serve basis.

This is a county fairgrounds rv park so it’s not fancy. We just needed a site for 1 night and it was perfect 50 amp service by the lake for $20! What’s not to like? Bathroom and showers are in building E. Very basic Sites aren’t level but I was able to level my 42’ motor home pretty easily. Hookups are at the back of site. If you’re looking for KOA type place this isn’t for you. If you want a basic, inexpensive place not far off of I-59 I recommend this place I would use it again !

First of all, this is a county government run park immediately next to a rodeo complex. The park is meant to support horse trailers. Don't expect a live human being to answer the phone number published. Leave a message but you may or may not get a call back. The park is first come first served EXCEPT when an event is planned. Then, there must be a completely different reservation process not published to the general public. Do not show up on a weekend in the Fall expecting to find a spot. They may be all "reserved". The parking pads are all uneven concrete and sloped. On a long rig, you can easily hit your leveling limit. Hookups are all at the rear of the pads. Hook up lengths can be very long. It's cheap but it's not worth it.

Large grass area with level concrete pads, full hookup. Right next to county fairgrounds. Lots of horse trailers but no horses allowed in rv park. Quiet. Good overnight stop on way to Mobile.
