We are traveling in a 30’ trailer. Great location on the Madison River clean pit toilets no services. Quiet and beautiful campsite #2. Paid $18.00 since we are not residents and did not have a fishing license. First come first serve, almost empty when we arrived Sunday night. Road in excellent condition.

Sweet spots on the Madison! Grassy, some trees, lots of sun, and in early June, bugs! Great spot for birdwatching! Some rough patches in the gravel road. Good cell service on Verizon. Close to Ennis, where you can get almost anything you need, except a Brewery. Stayed 2 nights in a 24 foot trailer, and would stay again.

Beautiful, quiet along the Madison River. $10. About a dozen sites. Our 27' class C RV fit just fine. Bathrooms. Picnic tables. Views. No hookups. Close to town. Level. Gravel road. Minimal shade.
