Great FWP site. Several sites are right on the Yellowstone River. The improved dirt road from the highway has potholes some of which cannot be avoided but that’s the only negative about this place. No facilities except for pit toilets, but we are in a self-contained RV and do not care.

Good stop for a night. We came on a Friday early afternoon and expected the area to be busy, which it was, but we got lucky and found the last open spot here after trying Mallards Rest (full) and Paradise FWP (also full). It’s $12, you pay at the pay station and hang your ticket on the post at your site to show that you’ve paid. It looked like there were about 20 sites and they all look pretty level. Not much privacy at all between you and others camping there. Beautiful views from this campground though. Make sure you catch the sunrise over the mountains!

Arrived on Wednesday, only 2 people here. Clean with great views. Nice level pull through sites. NO WATER, no trash bins.

Kind of expensive for just a pit toilet and campsites. No more toilet paper in the morning and no instant hygienic gel in the toilets no garbage cans and no water. Nice view although

Primitive but spectacular. Only amenities are level campsites and a pit toilet. But you are right on the Yellowstone river and the views of the mountains are spectacular. We loved it.
