Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of the campground at 370 Lakeside Park. Getting to the campground was easy. The road in the campground is paved and in good condition. The trees are all well trimmed. There are no trees. The campground office was open and everyone was friendly. A very small camp store is available. There is a large parking area near the office. A few seasonal campers are there since they allow a 5 month winter stay and 2 month summer stay, but was not an issue. They provide a map to the site. The road signage to our site was good. Sites have fire pits. Our site was a back in site with a gravel drive and gravel patio area, with a picnic table. The site had a good view of the lake. Our site was level. The site was dry. Site was full hookup. Sites are a good distance from each other. Bath house is good. There was no laundry. No swimming pool or hot tub. No rec room. No workout fitness area. The grounds are plain. No cable tv. Good over air antenna. Wifi was good. Verizon cell service OK. So here is the bad: It is a no thrills park, nice but not any amenities. We liked site 201, 101, 115, 401, 415. I would come back. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

This lake was a gorgeous, well maintained and staff friendly campground. Best city park we have ever visited. So many amenities and a padded walking track around the lake. Will def return again. #cityparkgoals

This is definitely a great City/County owned RV park. We have been here twice so far and will continue to come back. It has a lake, and fishing ( catch and release) a great Archery range with targets , a long walking trail that goes for miles, paddle boats, and also they have concerts and things going through out the year.
All Rv amenities both 30/50 amp.75 level gravel and some concrete sites , tent camping , a nice clean bathroom’s and showers with laundry. And 24/7 armed park rangers , and or Security people drive around all the time. Only bad thing is there are no big trees at all. So no shade. There are fire pits and concrete patios. Close to St. Louis city about 25 miles. And shopping real close. Quite Park people friendly. Always love coming back here.

This is a very nice campground with lots of amenities. Sites are absolutely level. Lots to do if you are staying longer than one night. For us it was a stop-over. Did t have to unhook to level up. Everything was super clean and nice. It’s so new that there is literally no shade anywhere. That’s the only reason I gave it a4 instead of a 5. The price is very reasonable, too. Don’t expect to use Wi-Fi very much unless you are outside your rig or close to one of their towers. Still, I’d stay again if I were passing through.

For 370 Lakeside Park: Wow! Big Rig friendly! 35 mins to town/tourist attractions, but easy drive. No trees for shade, but cute place with lots of space and safe! Dog agility park, paved trail around large lake. Close to Costco, Walmart, Grocery stores. Staff so friendly. Very thought out park and so clean! Stayed in 39 ft class A no problems getting around or backing. Will stay again..

Very friendly both when booking and when checking in. Grounds are well kept. Cold while we were here (Nov) but would like to come back when it’s warmer to enjoy more of the lake and outdoors.

Overall a nice campground with a nice park and lake. Nice level packed gravel lots. Had a hiccup at check-in, I had reserved and paid for one pull through site and one back in. When we checked in, they had rented the pull through and said no problem, we have put you side by side, both back ins. I explained the reason I requested and paid for a pull through was so we didn’t have to unhook our tow vehicle. They did eventually find us a pull through and a back in that was close.we didn’t use any of the facilities, so I can’t comment on that, but there was a nice walking trail around the lake and a nice large dog park.

Nice, clean, easy to get to overnight stop. All sites have concrete pads. We didn’t use all of the opportunities for fishing and boating but they’re there for those who would be interested. Close to local eats and shopping. Good stop over on our way out west!
